A brief Report:
A Guest Lecture Programme was arranged
under the auspices of Commerce Forum on Monday 28th July 2018. The topic of the programme was “Commerce
&Management Education- Opportunities and Challenges”. The speaker of the topic was Prof Devaraju,
Retired principal, Sri Adichunchanagiri First Grade College Channarapatana , Hassan.
Prof Devaraju, in his lecture provided
very useful information about Commerce and Management Education. He said that
there is always demand for commerce and managementstudents in the field of
Business & Industry. He also stressed upon opportunities available in
entrepreneurship development.
He has also given details about professional
course like CA, CMA, COMPANY SECRETORY. As far as challenges are concerned, he
said B com and BBA students should acquire communication skill and computer
knowledgewhich are very essential to handle the situation.
The programme began with the welcome
address of Prof. Rajendra, HOD of
Commerce and IQAC coordinator. Prof.Thriveni proposed the vote of thanks to the
dignitaries. Faculty of commerce was also presented on the occasion. A felicitation was given to the day’s guest Prof
Devaraj.
